Punchi bonikka is another sort lama katha written by Kavindi Damsari Gamage. There lived a little girl named Malki. Her mother gave her a punchi bonikka, that bonikka could talk. Malki was very happy she played with the bonikka while chatting. Malki did not like to attend to school except that she always wanted to play.
One day her bonikka didn’t talk with her. Malki was very upset. She took the bonikka to her mother and told her the story that the bonikka is not talking anymore. Then Malik’s mother said “if you go to school and do your studies well the bonikka will start talking again. Till then she will not talk with you “. Malki was really upset, so she thought to be a good girl and started to attend school and after coming home she studied hard. And then the bonikka stated to talk with Malki. And Malki was so happy so that she continued her studies and did not skip school. This is a short little story among a little girl and a bonikka.
