In a small garden lived a dandelion named Daisy. Unlike other flowers, Daisy didn’t have colorful petals. She was just a round, fluffy ball of seeds.
“I wish I was as pretty as the roses or as tall as the sunflowers,” Daisy sighed.
One day, a little boy named Max came to the garden. He looked sad.
“I wish my dog would get better,” Max said to himself.
Daisy felt sorry for Max. She wanted to help. Suddenly, she had an idea.
“Pssst, Max!” she whispered. “Pick me and make a wish!”
Max was surprised to hear a flower talking, but he gently picked Daisy.
“Close your eyes, make a wish, and blow my seeds into the air,” Daisy instructed.
Max did as he was told. Daisy’s seeds scattered in the wind, each carrying a little bit of Max’s wish.
The next day, Max returned to the garden, smiling. “It worked!” he exclaimed. “My dog is feeling much better!”
Word spread quickly. Soon, children from all over town came to the garden to make wishes on the special dandelion.
Each time Daisy was picked, new seeds grew back quickly. She helped grant wishes for good grades, new friends, and even lost toys.
Daisy no longer wished to be like other flowers. She knew that her gift of making wishes come true was far more special than any colorful petals.
And the best part? Every wish seed that flew away grew into a new wishmaking dandelion, spreading magic throughout the town.
So next time you see a dandelion, remember Daisy’s story. Make a wish and blow gently. You never know what magic might happen!
