In a zoo that’s topsy-turvy,
Where nothing is as it should be,
The elephants are teeny-tiny,
While mice are big as you and me!
The giraffe has got a short, short neck,
The turtle’s running track and field,
The sloth is zipping ’round the cage,
While cheetahs nap and refuse to yield.
Penguins in the desert thrive,
Camels love the arctic ice,
Monkeys swim in deep-sea tanks,
While sharks climb trees – oh, how nice!
The zookeeper scratches his head in doubt,
As visitors giggle and point about.
In this mixed-up zoo of crazy sights,
Every day brings new delights!
So if you visit, don’t be shocked,
To see the lion by sheep outfoxed,
In the zoo where weird is normal fare,
And laughter echoes everywhere!
