The Magical Bookmark

Lily loved to read, but she always forgot where she left off in her books. One day, her grandma gave her a special bookmark.

“This is no ordinary bookmark,” Grandma winked. “It’s magical. But you have to discover its power yourself.”

That night, Lily used the bookmark in her favorite fairy tale book. As she drifted off to sleep, she felt a gentle tug.

Suddenly, Lily found herself inside the story! She was in a beautiful forest, wearing a flowing gown. A friendly unicorn stood nearby.

“Welcome!” the unicorn said. “Would you like to join our adventure?”

Excited, Lily nodded. Together, they rescued a baby dragon, helped a lost prince find his way home, and even had tea with a talking flower.

When Lily felt tired, she said, “I think it’s time for me to go.”

The unicorn nodded. “Just hold your bookmark and think of home.”

Lily did, and in a blink, she was back in her bed. The bookmark glowed softly beside her.

Every night after that, Lily visited a new story. She battled pirates, explored space, and solved mysteries. But she always returned home in time for breakfast.

Lily never told anyone about her magical bookmark. But her parents noticed how much she loved reading now, and how vivid her imagination had become.

Years later, when Lily had children of her own, she passed the bookmark on to them. “This is no ordinary bookmark,” she’d say with a wink. “It’s magical. But you have to discover its power yourself.”
