I blew a bubble, pink and round,
It grew so big, it left the ground!
Up and up, it took to flight,
Me hanging on with all my might.
Over houses, past the trees,
My bubble gum sailed with the breeze.
People pointed up in awe,
The biggest bubble they ever saw!
I floated over my school with glee,
My teachers waved, they couldn’t believe!
Past clouds so fluffy, birds so high,
My bubble and I ruled the sky.
But then – oh no! – a sudden “POP!”
I tumbled down, I couldn’t stop.
I landed in a sticky mess,
Pink goo all over my favorite dress.
The lesson learned, now don’t forget:
When blowing bubbles, don’t get set
On breaking records for bubble size,
Or you might end up with a surprise!
