In my bowl of alphabet soup,
The letters decided to regroup.
They were tired of spelling boring words,
So they swam around in silly herds.
A and Z became best friends,
While Q and U went separate ends.
E stood on I to touch the rim,
As L and O taught P to swim.
S and N played hide and seek,
C curved into a comfy seat.
T and F had a rowing race,
H and X made a funny face.
My spoon dipped in to take a slurp,
But W just let out a burp!
The letters giggled with such glee,
At their soupy mutiny.
Mom asked, “How’s your soup today?”
I grinned and said, “It’s great for play!”
For who could eat such jolly letters,
When watching them’s so much better?
