Moonbeam Lullaby

Softly, softly falls the night,
Moonbeams dance with gentle light.
Stars are twinkling up above,
Wrapping you in cosmic love.

Settle down, my sleepy one,
Another day is done.
Dream of fields where flowers grow,
And quiet streams that gently flow.

Clouds like pillows drift on by,
Hugging the darkening sky.
Whisper now your wishes sweet,
As day and night quietly meet.

Close your eyes and rest your head,
Snuggle deep into your bed.
Moonlight sings a lullaby,
“Sleep tight, dear one,” it seems to sigh.

Till morning comes with golden rays,
Peaceful dreams will fill your days.
